In 2013, Durant made an estimated $11 to $12 million from Nike thanks to unprecedented sales of his signature shoe. According to SportsOneSource, Nike made $175 million from sales of Durant’s shoe in the US alone in 2013.
In 2013, Durant extended his empire to include a restaurant called KD’s Southern Cuisine, which he opened in Oklahoma City. Durant has also appeared in one film, “Thunderstruck.” The film featured Durant alongside young star Taylor Gray and was released in 2012.
